XU baseball team still has a (long) shot

[Mr. Neutral]

After losing their A-10 tourney opener 11-4 to URI, X beat Duquesne 9-5 and URI 3-0 to advance to the conf. championship on Saturday.
They play Charlotte twice, and would have to win both games to win the tourney as Charlotte has yet to lose a game.

The 1st game starts at 12PM EST. Good luck to the Muskie 9!

X's season came to an end with a 4-3 loss in 11 innings to Charlotte. X placed 3 seniors (Mike Creevy, Jordan Conley and Danny Rosenbaum) on the all-tourney team. Conley and Rosenbaum return next year.
