DePaul AD retiring

DePaul Athletc Director Jean Lenti-Ponsetto is retiring. This does not come as a surprise.
For the woeful Men’s Basketball Program, this is good news. For Coach Dave Leitao it almost certainly means the 2020-2021 Season will be his final year at the helm. A recent “extension” for him was a signal that DePaul was biding time so that a new AD could select the next Head Coach.
Jeanne is a very nice person, and other areas in the Athletic Department were well served by her. However, she continually made poor Men’s Basketball hires, even while being very dedicated to DePaul University.
