Taison Chapman is scheduled to announce his commitment tonight on youtube at 8PM. While X is on his final "5 list" he is expected to go announce osu after George Washington II committed recently Minnesota, Kansas and Virginia are other schools he is considering.

Let's hope Sean swoopes in and steals him, just because! He is ranked in the 30s

Looks like Sean has his sights on a big class the following year with a Juco in the works... My hope is for a Cincinnati kid who is in Missouri now for his senior year. Unfortunately, his stock is rising, and the big-time schools are starting to take a look. Could be in the 20-40 range for ranking by end of this year.
Sean looks to prioritizing kids that have mobility, better than average length, and who are athletic based on who they have successfully recruited and those they are looking at. With Nzah he is not afraid to stretch into the 150 range for raw talent.
I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.

Buckeyes, as of now. Another famous CG considering OSU is still a free agent though. However, they both visited Ohio State together so he must know something.

Per Zagsblog "Yaxel Lendeborg, one of the most sought after Juco recruits in the country, will announce his commitment Wednesday, he said on Twitter today. The 6-foot-9 forward out of Arizona Western College, and Pennsauken High School (NJ.), is between Xavier, St. John’s, and New Mexico."

"Lendeborg most recently visited St. John’s on Sunday and New Mexico in early September."
The incoming sophomore, who will play one more year at the JuCo level, averaged 12 points and 11 rebounds while shooting 60.7% from the floor last season
He was named the ACCAC Player of the Year and Freshman of the Year while also earning himself third-team NJCAA All-American honors.

While X is on his list there is little chance that he picks X.

Wow, this place is barely alive. Think I may have communicated this earlier (indeed the contents of this entire post), but I am off college basketball, the meth of sports fanaticism. Since Mr. Neutral left us, this place... is well ... lacking. Bless you Muskieman for the CPR.

I got off Xavier first, even though it was my most earnest pursuit. Next came the Reds. Chasing both teams around the TV subscriptions made me feel silly. The NFL, my first love, was harder to drop because it was right there, on national TV.

Back to Xavier, I feel like the Martin Luther of college sports. Nailing now: Gee, wonder how Romain Sato is doing these days... anyone know? I figure he is not benefiting from a college education. What is his degree: MBA of Jumpshots? I I am wrong, please correct.

K, not really what this place is for. I apologize. On the other hand, maybe provoke some activity here????

that said, X any good this year?

Powell would be a great addition. Not sure how he will view Xavier's recent success. Hopefully he gives us a pass on the lack of results by the last coach and focuses more on what Miller accomplished in his first go at X. Organized basketball also doesn't bode well for X if he focuses on the Steele years.

X has moved on from Travis, and I suggest you and other do too. A recruit that looks at what is past and not who the coach is now is probably not that smart and not OKG
