It looks like X will not get Hodge or Bishop. The fact that Trent Burns never came to X after X canceled the visit indicates that they are no longer interested. The recruiting game is a lot of misses and changes of minds. Transfer Portal + NIL $ = the ruination of college sports! I wanna barf when I reflect back on Dick Vitale making an impassioned case for "little Johnny," who cannot afford to take his date to get a piece of pizza...after a game, practice or during free time. It is more than disingenuous to say such things...the naked truth is most sports stars do not pay for anything...and in fact, are given most of anything they need/want. To boot, their education is paid for...oh yes, they are students, lest we forget!
