Nice to see Sean building a solid core of players. Now let's get a good big man. :)

Four-star SG George Washington III, the No. 106-rated prospect in the country and No. 2 player in Ohio, announced Monday he has de-committed from the Buckeye program.
I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.

Other offers included Creighton, Illinois, Maryland, and Miami. He is probably raw, but athletic, and has a good frame. Currently, 6'9", 210 lbs. I hope and think we'll see a different philosophy with players who are raw but have a lot of potential.

Finally a rim protector. Maybe he will be an Big East Defensive POY like Steele annoited Miles.

And he has good length (unlike the AH definition) he has a wingspan of 7"4" and can run the floor and defend

You never know, but judging by the recent articles, Kachi seems to be a nice prospect on the rise. The other three schools he narrowed it down to may not be all that impressive, but looked to be other more notable programs that also offered or were starting to make overtures. Believe I read he had not even taken up B-ball until the 8th grade, and had been running track prior. My hunch, is that after his Sr. yr - he climbs into top 100 and maybe even becomes a 4-star. We shall see. Either way, you can't teach 6-9'ish with top percentile agility and quickness. Welcome Kachi !

I recently read that our 3pt shooting was never better than 229 in college basketball the last four years. I think we can classify that as poor recruiting and development. Miller is changing that.
