It is amazing how many wide open 3’s we give up. Our hedge-help-recover portion of our base ‘man’ D is putrid.
Devastating loss.

You simply have to give Tandy or Wilcher a chance these last 8 min. Come on Coach!
Can't. Coach is fighting his inner Napoleanic self. Free keeps getting scored on, but Steele doesn't budge. Down double digits and playing 4 on 5 with Carter in the game. Now I know how UC fans felt when Cronin coached in an NCAA game. Can't wait to hear his tired cliches after the game.

Put Tandy and Wlicher in and take your chances. They play no D, so might as well go with your best offensive players. carter is a great kid, but I cannot wait unitl he graduates. However, if Steele is still in the big chair, I'm not sure it even matters.

I hope X loses by 20. I mean, if you're going to lose, you might as well lose in a blaze of glory. BTW, I'm confident that this is the last time I'll use the words glory and Steele in the same sentence. Daddy in-law better dig in for another big check at the end of the year. Unfortunately, Christopher was the AD at Bowling Green. Three NIT years consecutively would warrant a fat raise and extension up there.

Hear that? That sound is X's brand crumbling under Coach Travis F"ing Steele. X ix following VCU's model when Smart left.

When I discuss Travis with my XU compadres, they always accuse me of just ranting and raving, and have patience. I can take losing, but not when you waste talent. We have seen the same offensive mistakes and poor defense for almost three years. Steele has had several different rosters. What makes you think it’s gonna change. X hired a good guy but not the right guy. It was bound to happen.

I’m sorry, but this is now beyond embarrassing. Your chance to win at 3 min mark was obviously low, but why are Carter and Free in game? You need to flood the floor with shooting guards and small forwards. Sure, seems like we are piling on but this is beyond belief in how outclassed we are in the coaching realm. I am stunned at how this season has devolved and at how Steele now looks like a deer in the headlights...

UC, who is putrid, is 3-1 after a month's long layoff. Are we still allowed to crowbar that excuse for another February meltdown? I can see Kyky transferring to UC and torching X for 30 next year. That would be the personification of karma.

From bad to worse. X was favored by 1.5. Horrendous 3Pt shooting continues. No problem for the Friars. Wonder if The coach is still not worried about the offense. Only 25 points in first half set the stage for another disappointing loss. May not win another game with Creighton at home and last 2 on the road. After the last (3) games not surprised on the outcome tonight.

Re KyKy transferring to UC, I can't remember a single player going either direction, except for the scurrilous rumor that Brian Grant was going to do so to play for Thuggins.

Regardless that no team played March Madness last year, this may be the 3rd year in a row with no March Madness for X..???? Players come for a coach, a winning program, and to play in March Madness.

Yes, I don't know enough to say why, but In my opinion defending the three is something systemic. It pre-dates Steele as it was the same thing during the Mack era. We have always had a way of making poor to average shooting teams look like Steph Curry from behind the arc.
