Steele said they want to play as many games as possible. No one really knows what the schedule's going to look like in a month or two.

Some talk of non-conference if conference games can not be scheduled

I just can't see these games being made up. I say we offer UC a game tonight and we will even play on their court.

I am sure other D1 schools have dates booked in like Dayton has a game on the 30th, Toledo, Akron, Miami, on the 29th.

It would make it impossible to then play 20 conference games because the limit is 31 games (11 non and 20 conference)

In April 2020, the Division I Council passed legislation that allows men's basketball programs to schedule up to 28 regular-season games and participate in an MTE that has up to three games, or 29 regular-season games while participating in an MTE that has up to two games, for a total of 31 games in either scheduling option.

Teams that don't participate in an MTE can play up to 29 regular-season games.
