Sports writer 's article said Xavier was fouled numerous times , even flagrant fouls by Providence were NOT called by the refs and the writer even said in so many words that the refs must have had money to make sure Providence won. That is pretty strong language.

Flagrant fouls are seldom called by refs even when it is obvious.....why have the rule? Most fouls near the end of close games could be called flagrant and are not called. Players are grabbed and or hit with no action of going for the basketball....and no flagrant call is made. It is stupid to have a rule which refs chose NOT to enforce.

Been watching BE basketball from the very beginning. Went to the tournament at Hartford and MSG as far back as 1980 when there
were classic battles between Syracuse and GT, BC and SJU and the one constant has been that the BE Refs Stink out loud Then and NOW!!!
