NCAA to clarify flop definition

Postby muskieman » Fri May 06, 2022 1:23 pm

the rules committee has presented the following proposal: If a player is called for flopping or " head bob", the opposing team would shoot one free throw. Still needs to be approved by rules oversight panel
I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.

I don't think they need a rule. If they flop just let the play continue and don't call anything.

Given the frequency of flops, action is warranted. The penalty should be more severe for offensive players guilty of a flop.
