Former X Assistant Coach Conte Stamas (early ‘90’s) is now the new Varsity Head Coach at Brother Rice HS - Chicago. He inherits a pretty good team, replacing BR Alum Bobby Frasor (who was a member of UNC’s 2009 Championship squad).
Welcome to Coach Stamas and as a Dad of two Xavier grads, glad he is aboard. For all you X alums in Chicagoland, thought you might be interested so when the Chicago Catholic League Season begins you might wish to catch a game when BR is playing your alma mater or is nearby.
