The topic is how “Travis” helped mature Dante Jackson? This recruit wants to play in the NBA and Sean Miller has a proven track record of putting players in the NBA. Dante is a nice guy as well but Miller is running the ship. Thank goodness the last four years have been rough. Don’t worry MM “Travis” is doing fine and is almost as financial stable as AH. It is still puzzling how MM and others talk about how great of a recruiter Steele was yet his teams never made it to the tourney.
It is a shame you forget the recruits he has brought to X while he was here.
I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.

His last recruiting class, if it stayed in tact, had a chance to be our best ever.

The problem is that he didn't coach many of them up while they were here. High hopes but disappointing results.

so that makes them bad recruits?

so that makes them bad recruits?
No. IMO that makes him an underachieving coach.

I have no problem with that opinion. Certainly, I would have liked to see better production. As for his ability to recruit, which most felt were good to very good, and I believe he helped Jackson become a better recruiter.

BTW the more I see and read about Nzeh the more I like this recruit. He will probably need some time under the hand of Sean but if some of the guys that Sean is looking at for 24 he will have time to grow into a good player.

I like to criticize Travis as much as anyone but this definitely got derailed quickly.

From comments others have made, it seems Kachi is on the rise. If he takes a year or 2 to develop that is fine as X has had many bigs become key players as upper classmen. Nice to have a big added to the roster.
