X is one of 6 teams just outside his preseason top 25, which he hasn't revealed yet. We're in a group with Baylor, G'town, WVU, Syracuse, Ohio State and San Diego. Here's what he says about X---

XAVIER

Sean Miller signed a contract extension through 2018 after guiding the Muskateers to a 30-7 record last season, setting a school record for victories and securing a No. 8 national ranking. Duplicating that success will be difficult after losing seniors Stanley Burrell, Josh Duncan and Drew Lavender, but they were only three of six Xavier players who averaged between 9.7 and 12.4 points per game last season. The Musketeers should be solid up front, and they will get a chance to grab the attention of voters with a non-conference schedule that includes games against Duke, LSU, Virginia and Cincinnati as well as three games in the Puerto-Rico Tip-off, where they open against Missouri.
