I don't know who you are rooting for to play against X but Seton Hall injury report is not good for them.

I'd rather play SH. They have a better conference record which I'm guessing means they have more favorable computer scores.

Should Xavier play poorly and lose, a loss to SH would be less devastating. A win would also be more significant, increasing the odds of seed or location improvement.

The other argument is simply that it can be difficult to beat a team 3 times in a year. They are desperately fighting to make the tournament. Xavier also may be less likely to take Depaul lightly given the loss earlier in the season.

I'd still prefer to play SH as it does the least harm and offers the most upside. Also, losing to SH could allow them to make the tournament, which would be good for the conference (not saying I want that but way better than a loss to Depaul who has no shot unless they win the BE).
