Dayvion McKnight is now a Musketeer. 6'1", 190 lbs, averaged 16.5 points for 45.6%, including 33.9% (19-56) from 3-point with 5.0 rebounds, 3.8 assists, 1.8 steals, and 3.3 turnovers, playing an average 33.2 mpg last year. Inconsistent on defense but can sometimes be tough on the ball. He has two years of eligibility. Probably odds on favorite to start because of his experience but lacks three-point shooting McKnight was all CUSA Second Team last year

Point Guard is New Addition
I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.

16 pts and 5 boards are good numbers. 33% not great from 3. Assists to TOs not good. Hopefully he becomes consistent on defense and in a good way.

Welcome Dayvion. Great addition to next years team. I like that we are bringing in local guys. Dayvion can score and pass.... just what we need. Great pick up and next year is going to be awesome.

Yes indeed, welcome Dayvion! Now, absolutely zero disrespect intended as I truly hope I am just a bumbling idiot, but this signing does not move the needle much for me. I watched a few game clips of him vs Indiana and Louisville. (not the highlight vids where every shot magically goes in). Let's just say there were quite a few forced shots that did not go in nor did they look good coming out of his hand. I trust in Coach Miller though to be the guru for our newest PG addition. What Dayvion can do is push the tempo. Something that can really stir the drink in all the right ways. Maybe sensing he has other playmakers with him he may pass a few more times and cut down on those forced shots. He obviously can put the ball in the bucket so you don't want to throttle him back too much. Also, I am getting conflicting accounts of his on the ball D. He possesses girth and strength so I would hope that he could be effective in steering dribble drives off on an angle better than Souley or AK could. This aspect will be crucial as to whether this signing can really elevate us to where we all want to be- that being a legit top 15 team. All in all, as most of us sense, Sean may bring in 2 more. A SG and a post. Let's just say these last two need to be home runs. Really makes the signing of SG Olivari that much more vital. Fingers crossed and plenty of time left and prospects out there.

@TiptonEdits
Virginia transfer Kadin Shedrick tells me he also plans to visit Kansas State and Xavier.
This would be a nice get and along with Olivari would be that home run X- lucidity might be wanting.
