Real good pick up by Miller and his assistants. Looks like we are getting enough quality players to rotate players when they are in foul trouble or tired or not playing well .Hope we get the Big guy from Virginia Shedrick and the Australian guard Armstrong.
If X gets Shedrick, that would be a major get because Duke is after him. We also have Graham IKE and ABOU OUSMANE in the works and Sean's mystry guest
I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.

This crosses Armstrong off the list and I'm fine with that. I want a true, physical center.

Anti- Homer. I hope not. You might be right though. I watched about 6 minutes of Ousmawe's highlights and he looked long and finished pretty well but he didn't seem real physical to me. I think either Shedrick or Graham Ike would help us more.

I have to believe Armstrong is looking for big minutes. X just picked up two experienced, high-scoring guards, and has the best shooting pg. in H.S. coming in next year. My other concern is that I am not convinced Free is staying. Fortunately for X, they are in the mix for two of the top F/C, and another v good one from Ok St just entered the portal four days ago. I think it would be best for both the players and schools if they shortened the window. Though X has benefited very well from transfers, I'm not a big fan of the liberal transfer policies, b/c I think it really hurts mid-majors.

ESPN had QO ranked 54th and McKnight #72 best players in the portal. With a #12 ranking incoming class we can say Sean has had an impressive off season so far.

Trey Green
Ried Ducharme
Dailyn Swain
Kachi Nzeh

Logan Duncomb
Dayvion-McKnight
Qunicy Olivieri:

Jerome Hunter
Desmond Claude
Kam Craft
Zach Freemantle

ROOM for 2

Muskies played about 7,425 player minutes last year. Of the list above (minus Freemantle for now), only 1,601 were played by guys in X uniforms. We have to replace a lot of quality minutes. As of now, what we have brought in is not going to come close to that quality unless our Freshman step up in a big way. The last 2-3 need to be a big hit to help replace those 5,824 minutes.

X needs to promote that picture to their fandom. Get your picture taken with a sword for $250 for all donations to the NIL, $1000 for a photo sitting on the iron throne, $2500 for an action photo dueling with a player, $5000 for action video dueling with a player, 10,000 for a photo dueling with a coach $25,000 video dueling with Sean, $25,000 video of Sean knighting you $50,000 photo with a real moderator of musketeermadness.com, not one who claims to be one $150,000 for a sword throne of your own. $500,000 for a pre-game and personal post-game sit-down with Sean. $1,000,000 for a throne seat in the Cintas center per year with all the other perks.

I think Dayvion-McKnight and Qunicy Olivier are expected to take of most of the guard minutes with (Freshman 1st team)Des, along with Trey, Kam, Reid, and/or Dailyn helping to fill the 1-3 and part of the 4 with Zach and Hunter. The five-position has Logan and a player or two to be named later with Kachi. Don't be too high or low on the freshmen, but they all have talent and something past guys might have lacked, length and quickness. Kam is going to surprise people this year, Sean will bring out the killer shooter in him, and with the strength coach working on him, he will not be the skinny guy without any muscle. He rebounds, scores, and is a guy with the energy to play the position, just needs confidence.

Last year we lost a super scorer in Nate and a solid veteran in Paul, but Souely filled that at a first-team BE level. You don't have to have worn an X uni last year to be productive. Sean and his coaches seem to make the first and second teams, all CUSA players and former IU players, into more than productive BE players.

And Sean and his crew want to make it even better. Last year as a new coach, many thought about how long will it take Sean to make the team jell. Answer-- not long. This year no one should doubt his abilities, and as long as X is not hit by too many injuries like last year, we should be just fine. Actually, we were fine with all the injuries.

This year the position we need one or two servable people is the five. We will miss Jack which is an understatement. Some said he was soft, some said he was tired and lacked defense, but he was a player who made an impact just by being there. Ike may be a long shot as he visited the Zags over the weekend and is now predicted to be making a decision in 48 hours, but Sean doesn't have all his eggs in one basket and has the ability to coach to a player's strength. Logan will not be Jack, but he will be a part Sean will play when he needs him. We have room for two more and an assistant has been in Europe beating the bushes. Who knows Swain is 6'8" he might be in the mix for a 4 spot
