I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.

Good for both Free and X. I hope he heals well. Those foot injuries with big guys can be problematic. Nevertheless I love it.

Great news. Good for Xavier and Freemantle. We needed front court scoring badly. The team has a lot more depth than last year. Losing Nunge, Kunkel ,Boum and especially Jones is brutal. Miller and his assistants have done a good job restocking the cupboard. Not sure why Zack waited so long for but happy he is back.

Zack it is great you will be staying. Get healthy and stay healthy this season so X can give you that dream you are persuing. Thanks to the managers for telling him Xavier nation wanted to know.

Re: Were you there, did you hear Part 2
This is a very welcome bit of news. As it was not "given" Zach would return although we all hoped and suspected the odds were decent. Free provides a nice counter balance to Abou's strengths. Logan and Kazi will mix in to give the staff some nice combo's. Add in Jerome and even more variations. Once again, this is a HUGE win for us as we now head into the summer slow period. As for our last 'ship, I would agree with those on this board that are fine holding on to it a bit. Another SG or 3 that can shoot well from the perimeter would be the exception to that. For now, overall, job well done positioning X to head into next season with an honest opportunity to remain top twenty caliber and possibly develop by next February into a Final Four contender. Loads of competition as there are legitimately 60+ programs all vying to be in the mix for playing on that last weekend, so we take nothing for granted - but I very much like where we are.

Great news, Zach, but please get some shoes on! I hope no one steps on his feet.
