Jerome
As many of you likely have already heard, one of our key returning players suffered a significant health event recently. I would suspect details will be hard to glean, and rightfully so, as this will be and needs to be a private issue and journey back to hopefully full health. Obviously this will be a huge negative as far as the prospects for this upcoming season should it become a lingering risk or disability. But that is secondary to Jerome's overall well being and prospects for an eventual full recovery and ability to lead a normal life. We all hope for the very best and quick diagnosis and remedy. But no matter, as for now, let us all just keep him and his family in our thoughts and prayers. There is so much more than D-1 basketball for all of us blessed with the gift of life.

Re: Jerome
Information came from a pay site. Rick Broering's "Musketeer Report 24/7 Sports" Which is an outstanding site year 'round for any devoted Muskie fan or college b-ball fan in general. Well worth the modest fee IMHO. Once again, the primary wish here is for Xavier Nation to keep this good young man in our thoughts as we roll into Summer.

I read it as well and heard some more information. Let's hope they can find out more about his condition and wish him and family the best.

I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.
