6-foot-7 Lithuanian international transfer Gytis Nemeikša averaged 11.3 points, 6.1 rebounds, 1.2 steals, 1.7 assists, and 1.0 block. Nemeikša has good length and plays above the rim.

When Mman sent me to Lithuania 3 weeks ago, I thought it was a waste of time. Finally, I got to come home! I didn't see him play very much, as Lithuania has a lot of good amusement parks, but he apparently was the MVP of a Final Four? (Tourney, I presume).

just a little surprised at how little eXcitement and fanfare this has received on our beloved board. IMHO, this is a huge gyt..! Fills a perfect need especially with 'Rome's impending uncertainty. An experienced player that sounds like he can easily play the "3" or the "4" slot. Could even play the "2" for a bigger lineup. Athleticism and surprising wiry strength with a nose for offensive rebounding. The missing link so to speak. His three pt % is subpar but seemingly on a nice upward trend the past season. My take is he immediately vaults into our top 8 and that's optimistically including a healthy Jerome. Incredible lineup versatility now. The kid supposedly also has a terrific handle. Muskie Nation, this is a big deal to land a nice plum like this so late who perfectly fits some of those Colby traits we lost. Congrats to Sean & staff - homerun and a nice boost to our July doldrums...
