I know it's summer and everything but we should all be going apes**t right now that he's coming to X. This guy could be an absolute monster.
And to get him in August! Bravo.

Yeah, posted in recruits and transfer but maybe I should have made it a separate thread. https://pbs.twimg.com/media/F2xUb4bW0A ... me=900x900
With two international players, Sean has taken XAVIER from a possible international player wantabe under Chris to a definite player for international players.
Gytis is 22, and Laz is almost 19 so my guess is Gytis will be here for 1 year and Laz for possibly multiple years depending on his [production and how the NBA looks at him.
I was happy to see Gytis and think he will give X a different dimension this year, but I think I might be more excited about Laz. At 18+ years old he has a lot of upside including maybe some more growth. If X can build him up, he can be a big force for the Muskies after this year and be a big competition for the main players this year.
Practices will certainly be competitive with the second stringers pushing the first with help from 4 3rd stringers. WOW, Wholesale substitutions might look like line changes in hockey.
I wonder if we could petition the NCAA so we could play 6 guys

I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.

Re: Lazar Djokovic
My bad lol, forgot to check the recruit thread.
I agree, the competition for playing time will be intense (and that's a good thing). There may not be a true star on this team but the depth of talent is impressive. Shooters, slashers, stretch bigs. Length and athleticism. Lots of new pieces so it may take time but this could be a special group come mid-season.

Paul Fritschner commented on twitter "The more I watch of Lazar Djokovich, the more I'm blown away by his potential for this Xavier team."
Lazar's versatility at his size adds an incredible dynamic. And oh by the way, he's only 19. " Kudos to David Miller for helping identify/land him"
Looks like we have a good one.
