College of Southern Idaho. Sounds charming.

Strange. I actually happen to be in Twin Falls, Idaho, about one block from Univ. of Southern Idaho's campus, on the day this was posted. Maybe I'll go tell Nate to clean up his act ...

Twin Fall, ID is still desert country but only 80 miles from Ketchem (Sun Valley) and only a little father up is the Sawtooth Valley which has some of the prettiest countryside you'll ever see. I spent two weeks on the edge of the Big Wood River about a eighth mile from Tom Hanks' compound (co-ords 43.7848°, -114.416°) and he never dropped in to say hello so I just nodded to him as we passed on the road.
In Twin Falls there is a golf course in the Snake River Gorge that plays both sides of the river. They also basejump from the Perrrine Bridge there - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fZQM8LYBGOs - and I watched some dude land in the trees when I was there in the last month of June this year.
The golf course is on the other side of the bridge.

College of Southern Idaho is a JC and is known for its basketball team. The players are not a product of the local schools.

Shadow's discription of Idaho is accurate. However, after living in Boise for the past 18 years, I would use more glowing terms. The skiing and fishing in the Sun Valley area are great. I've been to many destination resorts. For me, Sun Valley is still the best.

So, raise your hand if you think Miles ended up there for the golf, skiing or fishing.

I have no doubt it's gorgeous country, but I'm guessing that Nate's options were dwindling.
