I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.

Val Ackerman says at Big East Media Day that the Big East and MSG are in discussions to extend the agreement for the Big East Tournament through "at minimum" the 2031-32 season.

That would put me at 87 years old. I can do that!

Any word on a new TV contract?

1. I would hope X will finish higher than 6th, but 6th should land us in the tournament.
2. I expect Butler to be better than 10th. I have it on good authority that Matta's health has improved. Also his second years at both Xavier and Oh St were big increases in victories.
3. Frankly I do not see Marquette winning the whole thing. Shaka Smart press glow creeping in there.

Surprised also that GT is below Providence. Do not underestimate Ed Cooley.

How can they have Freemantle on third team? Do these people not read? He is out for the year. And I think these are coaches voting on these honors, but maybe not on the individual honors. Makes no sense.

Interesting that St. John’s is rated higher than X. Pitino? Didn’t he get rid of most of his team and restock? To me it seems both X and St. John’s have gone thru the same transition. But, as was noted earlier, they still voted Zach honorable mention!

pretty cool stuff and thx for sharing MM. Does anyone know if the entire team got to go to NY or just those three players?
