I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.

Bob was the right stuff for X, and when he left, I remember thinking we may not get another real coach. I was lucky to see every home game and a few away games during Bob's time, and I remember that Oral Roberts game and the fan reaction when he came on the court. That is the real Xavier fans who still can have raw emotions when someone needs support.
