Sean gets extension
Xavier has extended Sean's contract adding two years to the previous deal. The new contract runs through the 2028-29 season.
I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.

It has a no clause that he can't go to another BE team.

I like the extension. Sean has been great thus far in his return and was easily the best coach in modern Xavier history during his first tenure. I do not have sufficient knowledge prior to Prosser but am guessing he was Xavier's best coach ever.
Why no clause about bolting to any other program? Coaches don't pay the penalty for leaving anyway. Make whatever program trying to steal him pay up. $5 million might not prevent another university from taking him but it would be a nice chunk of change to use toward the next hire or other purpose. If NIL money can be used for acquiring coaches, you could probably make that $20 million and universities wouldn't be deterred if they thought he was the right guy.
