Due to his decrease in minutes, the Kings have decided to assign Jones to their G League affiliate, the Stockton Kings.
Per Sacramento Kings
Jones has played 12+ minutes in three games this season, averaging 6.3 points and 3.7 rebounds in those appearances. The talented rookie was expected to step up in the rotation, but the emergence of G Keon Ellis has overshadowed Jones.

I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.

Colby will be alright. Ellis is very fast and flashier than Colby but I'd take Colby every time. Jones needs to get use to the speed of the NBA and become more selfish .The Kings have a lot of guards and if Colby isn't getting many minutes getting sent down makes sense

Colby did well when he was in and had a great preseason, so he will be fine. The Kings like him a lot but they are a good team and needs playing time. He played a lot of point. He has a high ceiling.
