I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.

I could not watch the game so thanks MM for the periodic updates but next time (which looks like this Fri. 12 pm again) can you include the score. That was a good win for X but I suspect we caught them at a time when they are not playing there best BBall. Too bad we did not beat Washington and we should have. Was our defense that good or were they missing makeable shots? Claude´s numbers were very good. 11 pts 7 assists and 1 turnover in 30 minutes ain't bad. Did he really play that well? Sean seems to be dividing up the minutes between the big guys. Foul shooting is a problem and will haunt us if we do not fix it.

Huge win. Can you even imagine the flight home if we had gone 0-2 there and suffered our 3rd L in a row? Night and day. The boys played with energy and showed more team spirit. Quincy looked a little better, so maybe my harsh criticism of his Friday night perf motivated him.. LOL. But still a few too many forced shots. But again, improvement,. I like starting Sasa as it helps Abou get a feel for how the game is being called and not pick up two fouls before the 7 min mark.... This 'dub will allow me to enjoy my Thanksgiving much better....
* MM, can you try and repost the Sean Miller postgame press conf please? The link you posted does not open for me for some reason.
* Finally, in case anyone is interested. I found a nice video condensed recap of our scoring:

Much needed win, agree with X-lucidity. Hard to believe that we gave up 18 offensive rebounds, made 48% of FT's and won by 17. We are going to have to button up a few things like free throws and rebounding if we are going to be over .500 in BE.

I think X's free throw woes recently are more of a product of playing in a strange venue and having two poor FT shooters taking a lot of attempts in Ousame & Ciani. I know they will obviously play in different venues in the regular season, but I have been watching a little of many games this week, particularly the Maui Tourney, and saw some really good free throw shooters also struggle (i.e. Edey & Smith of Purdue). I expect the FT shooting for guys like Olivari to improve considerably.

I also expect to see a big dose of Djokovic over the next two games, because X needs his scoring power for the likes of Houston, UC, and the start of League play soon after.
