Think big, think positive, never show any sign of weakness. Always go for the throat. Buy low, sell high. Fear? That's the other guy's problem. Nothing you have ever experienced will prepare you for the absolute carnage you are about to witness. Super Bowl, World Series - they don't know what pressure is. In this building, it's either kill or be killed. You make no friends in the pits and you take no prisoners. One minute you're up half a million in soybeans and the next, boom, your kids don't go to college and they've repossessed your Bentley. Are you with me?

The line looks too heavy at -12.5 for X, as it was against Oakland and Delaware, two good mid-majors like UC. The leading scorer is also the type of player X has struggled to guard, a prototype Hunter is built to defend: a beefy, athletic wing who is a three-level scorer, seemingly. I have never seen Winthrop play, but they are experienced, have balanced scoring, and size. They also play fast and shoot well and often from 3. They seem to struggle on D but have only been beaten soundly by a Top 10-15 caliber team in Clemson and have two other quality losses.
X is waaaay too far from the bubble to even discuss that, except to say X has exhausted their margin of error in losing to teams they are supposed to beat. This game will be high-scoring, with X winning 81 - 71.

I am very concerned. We are struggling against mid major programs at home. Albeit good mid major programs but still. The Big East is loaded and I hope I am wrong but at this point I think we will struggle to beat teams like Depaul and Georegtown on the road. Forget about the Marquettes, UCONN, Creightons, and Villanovaś of the world. I trust in Sean but I am not sold on this fast pace uptempo offense. I do not think we have enough B Ball IQ to play that type of game. We take awful shots by the wrong people away too often. I still believe our big guys are going to ok but at this point they are not ready. I am very concerned going into the Big East I thought we would be further along at this point. St. Johnś will be the first of tough games and St Johnś is the type of team we should have a chance to win. I hope I am wrong. Go X!!! I am not optimistic.
