rankings may show mens basketball is just barely above average???

The Polls and Rankings change drastically each week this year. The so called best teams have 2 to 5 losses already. The top 25 each week changes greatly. Maybe when March Madness arrives, it may be hard to pick 68 teams? This could all benefit X greatly, if they can start a major win streak .

It also may hurt Xavier as it suggests a lot of teams hover in the top 35. X would likely be better served with dominance at the top in all leagues but the BE. Xavier needs to start winning consistently. Would be great if X non conference opponents take care of business improving the strength of schedule.

The NCAA invite is still possible but it will be difficult to achieve. X had a number of opportunities to set themselves up this year but came up short in too many. The fact that they had those opportunities indicates they are capable of making a run.
