Butler game thread
I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.

Another Big East war. It will be a tough one. I have a lot of respect for Thad. He is a very good coach and arguable the best X ever had. Go X!!!

I agree. Butler is very tough this year. We have to slow down their offense. Need some more of that good D tonight

We better pick up the defense. McKnight is on fire. Butler is scoring way to easy. They have 16 points in 4.5 minutes. Brooks looks like a load.

LOL We did pick up the defense. I think they have missed their last ten shots. McKnight and Claude are feeling it.

Shooting the ball very well. Besides the 8 turnovers excellent first half.

Re: Butler game thread
I would have like Butler not scoring in the last two minutes of half but second half same as first would be nice

This is a game of runs by both teams. We came out very flat the second half.

Re: Butler game thread
I like that X took punches and punched back harder. It was a good team win as the starters flexed, and Trey Green came in and showed he could play big when needed. runs run runs... I was happy to see the refs not be fooled by the flop in the first half which is a big tool in the Butler toolbox.
Now take it on the road and show that they have turned the corner after they beat Georgetown which has become a team you can't just call a automatic win anymore.
