Olivari

You have got to be kidding me. Olivari didn't make first team all Big East. That's crazy. He averaged 19.5 points and 5.5 rebounds a game. For the most part he played hard on defense. The All Big East first team had 6 guards and no front court guys. The second team had Kalbrenner and Alexander who I thought should both be first team . I guess he got moved down because of our record.

What player, and why do you take him off the first team so Quincey gets a spot? I mean, even Clingan was an honorable mention, and Kalenbrenner and Alexander were only on the second team. Don't get me wrong; I wish he was chosen, but the guys who were are not misses.
I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.

Thank you for all you did for X this year. I wish we had you one more year and wish that the last three would have dropped to 105. You will always be a special part of the Xavier family. GOD bless you and much success as you continue to pursue your career

Muskieman. I would put Olivari before Spencer for sure ( 14.7 points, 4.6 rebounds and 3.4 assists) and Richmond ( 16.2 points, 6.6 rebounds and 1.5 assists) and a 24% three point shooter. Olivari goes 19.5 points 5.6 rebounds and 3.2 assists and shot 42% from the three point line. My All Big East team would have Kalkbrenner, Alexander, Scheierman, Kolek, Carter and Olivari.

Thx Q. You are on my all time X Favorite list. I also wish you were back next year. You will be missed on and off the court.

No way Spencer is more deserving.

I'm ok with a guard filling a SF spot or a SF filling a guard spot. 2 centers or 2 PFs is fine but hard to be ok with a 4 guard lineup as a first team all conference. Teams will go 4 guards at times, usually because of necessity or to exploit an advantage but I suspect it typically wouldn't work consistently against other top teams. If it did, wouldn't more teams do it? If it doesn't work consistently, a conference should not put forward an all conference team that deviates so far from positional norms.

don't think they are doing it by position but best players. Why I don't know, maybe it is because a league may not have outstanding layers at every position and over the years the cry was why did this guy make the first team but the guy with worst metrics did
