Re: Portal time and names
I see a Freeman from That school, but it's not that great! He's a 6-6 lightweight and not highly ranked from the Horizon league. That's if I checked it out correctly!!??
It seems that there's still a lot of Centers and PF's available that would fill our needs much better.
I have no idea how these players are scouted or what SM finds as needs.
This one doesn't make feel confident.
As a long time fan, it seems like we need an experienced BIG to compete. Six-10 or taller with great ability and doesn't need to be from the "big boys" conference's.
I couldn't find anything from Long Beach State, but know you guys can do a better job than me.
Go Muskies!

Lassina Traore averaged double double last two years. Would be a solid pickup it seems considering size and ability to protect rim and defend.

Re: Portal time and names
Familiar name, Jacksonville State guard KyKy Tandy has entered the transfer portal. He averaged 17.8PPG, 2.6RPG, 1.4APG and 1.1SPG in 23-24
I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.

Skyhops, perhaps I saw another player.
Where did Lassina go to school?
As for KyKy, he was ruined for Xavier. Another coach had his head spinning and DM inherited that.
I'm so happy he found success and wish the best. He seemed like a fine young man.

Re: Portal time and names
Assuming we have picked up another BIG, how many more picks can we do?
I can only think we have one coming up as a freshman scholarship.
What say y'all?

All four of Maddox, Foster, Conwell, and Hugley IV have signed their transfer commitment

Great pick up for the good guys. Travore had 17 double-double's. We should be greatly improved from last year.
