Article says NCAA will vote Monday April 22, 2024 to allow all athletes to transfer between schools as much as they want and be eligible to play immediately for the next school they transfer to. This will really mix up things and almost make the athletes totally in charge?? No loyalties to coaches or schools. also the NCAA will allow the placement of electronic communications in the helmets of the football players...thus eliminating the real need for signals, signs, etc.

Maybe the younger fans will maintain interest in full Mercenary basketball

During the last season Rick Pitino wondered if players could transfer and play for their next team that same season. I wonder if that possibility will be addressed.

Maybe instead of letters of intent, signing contracts will be the norm.

Pretty much same thing unfortunately. We could be looking at a new team/lineup every year. Ten players left, unreal.

These programs are going to start losing interest from the fan base, especially the smaller programs that rely on some name recognition to fill the seats. Bad for college basketball.

I'm flabbergasted that players aren't already signing some sort of contract... If I was a booster there's no way in hades I'd hand over the type of money that Claude wanted without some sort of written agreement... Dan
