Below is the link to another podcaster talking to Kevin Reily's favorite, fast-rising wing in CBB, Daiyln Swain. He is intelligent, thoughtful, articulate, and obviously a talented player. He covers a wide range of subjects including being invited to the prestigious Jayson tatum Camp, and his long recovery from his appendicitis, which was much more grueling and physically taxing than I knew. I'm looking for a big season from this guy.

Re: Dailyn Swain
LOL . I have been too negative towards the young man. Hope I am totally missing something. He had quite a bit to overcome as a freshman. He is working hard in the off season and that's all you can ask. Wish him the best next season.

Re: Dailyn Swain
I love his passion for wanting to be a great defender. He has the attributes to be a great defender. I'd love to get in his head to further that goal along but I suspect he will be great without my advice. Should I get the opportunity to chat with him, he just might become next level.
Taking reps from 3 is also very encouraging. He didn't comment on shooting percentage so I won't expect him to be lights out this year but having the ability and confidence to take the shot should create opportunities. I was never a great shooter but you certainly don't want to leave me open. If Swain can get to that level, defenders will have some difficult questions to answer.
I loved his game as a freshman. If he returns at the same level it will be disappointing but he will still be a huge factor. Slight improvement will make a noticeable difference and dramatic improvements could be incredible to watch.
