TV: FS1
Radio: 700 WLW

X leads series 3-0 First game Dec 31, 2001 score 68-59 Last game Nov. 8, 2019 score 81-63

with a win X will be 5-0 for the first time since the 20-21 season
I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.

For ranking purposes, X needs a big margin of victory. I'll be happy with a well played win and content with a win. Can't drop this 1 while looking ahead to the preseason tournament.

It's been a great year so far. The team has a lot of potential.

Is it just me but Freemantle look thinner and quicker than ever? I know he looks better than ever. What was the problem with Reid at X? Was it defense? I know he was hurt but it looks to me like he could have contributed.

Muskie man we do not seem to have the same passion this year with the post responses. What’s up? The late great Gary griffin would be most upset with the lack of responses. We have a good team. This team is much more disciplined and deeper than others we need to rev it up. Uconn, Creighton, Marquette and St John’s will be loads. Providence will be no easy mark. Let’s go X!!!

Team looks ready for good competition. They got a bit relaxed early in the 2nd half and again after they built a big lead but it was obvious they were in control.

I love the assist to FG ratio. The team is playing unselfish, creating a lot of open looks. X is stacked with shooters. Swain and Hunter are scrappy on the glass and getting after it on D. I suspect the lack of comments is partly due to the lack of competition and partly competition from other posting options. Hard to get too excited dominating mediocre to bad teams. Even Wake looked questionable but hopefully that is simply X being really good.

This team needs to win out next week. They have the talent to do it. The top of the big east is brutal so getting solid non conference wins is essential if they don't dominate the conference. X can win the conference but they are certainly not the favorite. We will see if the top 5 beat up on 1 another or if 1 or 2 run away from the rest. Limiting losses to the next tier is essential to winning the conference.

Presumably 4 teams will make the tournament from the BE. 5th team is possible to probable. X needs some non conference opponents to start winning games.

I should also say Foster had an amazing game, as did Green. The usual suspects also played well.

Guys outside Conway, Free and McKnight will likely determine the success of the team. It doesn't have to be the same player each game outside of those 3 but we will need 1 or 2 to step up and make a difference against good teams. Foster certainly seems capable.

Swain and Hunter are essentially locked into defensive, rebounding and hustle play. They will each score a bit but mostly they are doing the dirty work. That shouldn't be taken as others are not playing defense as the team seems to be playing dramatically better defense than in past years. A lot of guys are stepping up making an effort defensively.

After two shaky games to start the season, X averaging 83 and giving up 57.3 over last 3. Forcing lots of turnovers and putting up very high assist numbers.

Looking better and better. Given the amount of new faces on this team, you could even say they're ahead of schedule.
