as good as Swain was on Monday, he is that bad tonight, make that a horrible night. Standing outside the 3-point line doing nothing
I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.

Freemantle didn't deserve Swain phoning his game in. Swain should be embarrassed being afraid to shoot the ball. 1 shot in 25 minutes seems impossible but watching him stand outside and just passing the ball around makes me mad. Instead of cutting to the basket when a three-point shot went up, he just stood there. Something has to be wrong here because that doesn't happen to good players, players with pride. Did his NIL money not show up?

Mman, you do realize that is where SM puts him in sets, right? Only Conwell and an uncharacteristically out-of-control McKnight attempted to drive the ball. MI knew Swain can’t shoot from the outside. They backed off and dared him to shoot, and clogged the lanes with two, mobile 7-footers. I agree Swain should try to drive/shoot it more, but as I’ve said previously, the only outside shot I want to see him take is a short, driving bank shot. He has no touch without using the board. I actually appreciate that he knows his limitations.

I’m a big fan of SM, but it is two years in a row with subpar results in the transfer portal as a whole. Last year was somewhat understandable, with Hunter and Free going down in the summer, but he had to know Free was doubtful. This year, Traore went down, but he picked a Green clone in Maddox, who I am sure could thrive if he got more than 3-minute spurts at a time. Also, Hugley makes Ousame look like Anthony Davis. When I see some of the centers taken later in the summer, this pickup becomes a bigger head-scratcher.

Despite X shooting poorly from three in Ft. Myers, they still shoot over 40% from 3, with one of their best high-volume three-point shooters not contributing (partly his fault, partly Miller’s) in Maddox.

Miller's in-game management has been suspect more often than normal. I say this as the only coach on this board to simultaneously guide a 7th grade CYO boy's and 3rd grade CYO girl's team to league titles in the same year, while still keeping up with my moderator responsibilities.

His refusal to play zone or even token pressure to try and change momentum when the other team goes on 15-0 runs (happened three times in Fla)
and his mind-boggling strategy of having Hugley guard a very mobile Danny Wolf was maddening. He needs to raise his game as well.

I wanted Swain to drive when he had the balls, but when a shot goes up, could he at least stop standing outside watching shots and get in on the rebounds. Swain only participates in the transition game. Swain has too much potential to be watching the games.

I believe in Sean but if guys are not putting out maybe he didn't get OKG

Lastly, you wish you were the only successful coach on here. You are not.

As for zone or a change of D, I would agree if they practiced it. He has the reverse Jimmy B mindset.

I just hope the day off for thanksgiving doesn't give them that Triptafan game against S Carolina because they are big all around
