UConn game thread Dec 18
I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.

I will be there to night with my X swag on because you must be true to your school. I am afraid it could be a repeat of last years embarrassing blow out. My heart goes out to Free the poor guy has had a rough go of it. This year was going to be a struggle with him but I do not even see a NIT bid without him. Sad. I know how we all look forward to X b ball season. Now I do not think we are competitive. Go X!!!

No talk of activating Anderson or convincing Green to stay?

Anderson can’t play this year and Green is not coming back. Miller chose Maddox over him and he isn’t happy.

Uconn 12.5 pt favorite. Not enough to place any $ on the Muskies in my opinion. Unlike some people on this board I am not a fan of Green. IMO he is too small to play at this level. People say he is such a great shooter but other than the Providence game last year I have not seen it with any consistency. He will be better off some where else.

I agree with you on Green.Reminds me of Redford. If we keep it under 20 tonight I'll take that as a positive. We could get run out of their gym again.connecticut72 wrote: ↑Wed Dec 18, 2024 1:22 pmUconn 12.5 pt favorite. Not enough to place any $ on the Muskies in my opinion. 4 blocked shots in less than 5 minutes is too much. Middle ball screen has been effective for UConn

Damn they missed three fouls on Reed on one possession. Call it fair on BOTH ends. Foster is playing no defense. We need to go hard to the basket and draw fouls. Fading away too much

Well we look like a Xavier team with our effort. Maddox is really sticking his nose in there. Fletcher looked good when he was in there. Real nice effort to start the game.
