Maddox was outstanding. The defense was very good. Up by a point at half with Swain doing nothing and McKnight still struggling. Talk about not feeling sorry for themselves. The team came to play tonight. Go X.

I'll take a 1 point lead into the locker room. I hope they fight like this in the second half because UConn is a second-half team. Refs seem to switch from calling fouls on UConn to X in the second 10 minutes of the first half. UConn is a foul machine and only had 7 called on them; I don't think so. They are mugging Conwell, and Reed must have had 3-4 non-called as he banged in the first half. Win the second half and steal a win, guys, but get out to a fast start after the half. Muskieman I agree. U Conn is getting away with fouls on both ends. Two very cheap fouls on Foster. Reed is getting away with murder.

UConn has taken 15 more shot at the 10:32 mark. They also have 9 more rebounds.

Team looks a little tired. Need to keep moving on offense. you don' have to cover swain or Hugley. Put in Hunter and Fletcher.

Maddox has been unreal. Swain has no offensive skills and is a step late on defense . Put in Fletcher.

Tremendous effort by Xavier. Conwell, McKnight and Maddox were great. I think our legs were gone by overtime.
