Re: Georgetown game thread
Xavier settled down after a rough start. Great to see Freemantle back in there. Shooting 1-10 from the three point line won't get it done. Georgetown is big but very beatable with Epps out. Turnovers at the end of half's are still killing us. Conwell with the ball at the end of half's is not a good idea. He's not quick enough to get a good look

Miller doesn’t value freshman or bigs and it is showing. Swain is soft.

Miller Technical energizes GT and now they have a 10-point lead
I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.

Keep driving at Fielder. He is a hatchet. Mack is killing us.

GT's smallest guy has 23 points, and our top two scorers together have 24 points

Re: Georgetown game thread
My biggest problem with this team is the lack of mental toughness exhibited this year. Too many late game mistakes, too many missed crucial free throws missed.I miss the grit and toughness that Xavier basketball used d to have. Bad loss tonight. Apathy setting in.

Re: Georgetown game thread
Just couldn't climb over the mountain because they couldn't shoot their normal three-point percentage and weren't deadly from the line. This was a game I thought they would steal at the 4-minute mark, but missed FT couldn't tie it and put some pressure on GT. A game X should have won

Re: Georgetown game thread
Had Swain played the whole game like he did for a couple of minutes stretch toward the end of the game, X would have won this going away.
