Xavier alum Pat Kelsey up for Coach of the Year?

Sunday Feb 22,2025. Was watching Kentucky vs Alabama game on TV around 7pm...TV announcers were discussing possible Coach of the year for college basketball, and one said i think Pat Kelsey should be considered for Coach of the year for the fantastic job he has done with Louisville this year. It is his first year at Louisville and the team is top 25 . Every scholarship player at Louisville left the program when Louisville fired the previous coach.
Pat Kelsey was hired, and he had to recruit 12 new players to Louisville. Pat getting a lot of attention.... this is the second time I have heard his name mentioned for Coach of the year. I think Kelsey brought in all Division One transfers except for one high school player. He has done a terrific job.
