Re: Creighton Game thread
Forgot to mention we had only 1 turnover in the first half. Good defense and taking care of the ball is a good formula for a win.

Swain is now 3-14 . Embarrassing that our NBA player (LOL) is encouraged to shoot by the opposing team. They dare him to shoot.

Swain did more than score 10 points he had 7 rebounds, 5 assists, 3 steals and a block. Nice to see he didn't disappear but played solid D.Kevin Reilly wrote: ↑Sat Mar 01, 2025 5:57 pmSwain is now 3-14 . Embarrassing that our NBA player (LOL) is encouraged to shoot by the opposing team. Note that Ashworth only had 9 points and was 3-12
Good win now fish up with wins over Butler there and Providence at Home.
I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.

So your saying we have a chance? All credit to Anti-Homer and his white suit. I still think we need the next four games to make sure we make the tournament. Freemantle, Conwell and Maddox carried us . Didn't know Miller makes 5 million a year. Miller deserves it but I didn't realize we had that kind of money. Real good win for us.

Muskieman he did rebound well and had his best passing game (5 assists).Sixteen shoots is 8 more than he should try though.

I was saying that, but he did get better later on with a few pull-up shots, and I am sure Creighton, though—oh no, he is starting to score.Kevin Reilly wrote: ↑Sat Mar 01, 2025 6:40 pmMuskieman he did rebound well and had his best passing game (5 assists). I liked that X scored about the same in both halves: 42-41, 55+% from the field, and 11-21 from the three. I thought Conwell's three when Creighton got the score to 8 was the thing that just got X back on track, scoring on a 13-point run.
Before the game, I thought we needed to shoot a good percentage from the three. In the first half, I think we had 4-5 threes, and I thought we needed at least 5-6 in the second to stay with Creighton because I never thought they would shoot 25% from the three after our game at Creighton.
I just hope the final game that Cintas is as loud and crazy because the students may not be there because of the break.
I will be having a couple of medical procedures because of my cancer on Wednesday, so a nice win at Butler would be good for my recovery!
