Zach Freemantle and Ryan Conwell were voted All-BIG EAST by the league coaches. Freemantle is on the 2nd Team, and Conwell is on the 3rd Team.

X is 7-1 in quarterfinal games, with the only loss against UConn in 2024.

Kam Jones was named All-BIG EAST First Team, David Joplin All-BIG EAST Third Team, and Royce Parham was tabbed to the BIG EAST All-Freshman Team.

Second hald they score 53 X scored 41 enough said Every game this year against Marquette was a two point game. MU had 18 point off TOs and shot their average for a game from three in just the second half

It was a great game. We just cannot finish. Marquette spread the floor and then just beat us one on one or kicked it out for an open 3.They shot a helluva % in the second half. Three straight turn overs towards the end killed us. I believe we deserve a bid.

Who do root against beside Oklahoma and NC.

I guess we hope someone who does not deserve it but wins there tourney. Like maybe from the Atlantic 10 or a similar type conference.

The second oldest team in NCAA and we continue to choke against good teams down the stretch. Miller has an over inflated opinion of McKnight. Teams with good PG’s don’t choke like we do. Swain is young so I guess he carelessness is expected, but Free missing dunks, taking a bad 3, and turnovers should not happen when you are 24 1/2. He has never played in an NCAA tourney game. Ouch

I was working and missed the game but giving up 53 points in one half is brutal. Conwell dropping 38 points on 18 shots is unreal .Freemantle is our best player but taking three's , going after rebounds with one hand and turning the ball over is not going to cut it in tournament games. Foster and McKnight have really struggled the 8-10 games. I was hoping Maddox would have a breakout game. As far as Swain getting a pass on turnovers because he is young is not going to cut it. He has played 60 college games. I think losing Traore before the season was too much to overcome. We had very little room for error. All in all the last 16 games we were 12-4 and played good defense and played like a team. I hope we get in the tournament but I would be very surprised if we make it. On to the N.I.T I hope

it was said by someone that Marquette scored 18 points off of X's 10 turnovers....if so, that was the kiss of death on top of the other mistakes made.
