66-62 X escapes with a victory. Pitino has his first win as a Muskie. This team may kill half of the older alums like me with games like this. Shooting 34% for the game will not win many games

I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.

How in the world did Anderson only have one turnover? He got roasted on defense and just can't shoot. I can't believe that we could not find a better PG. Jovan is going to be a good piece the other Euro is awful. We have to get the ball inside otherwise we will see a zone all the time. Hard to believe we are spending good money on the big from UNLV and the Tyrice's son. We played solid defense in the first half and bigs were moving.

Milicevic bailed us out. Wright and Moore played well. Marist is a very small and thin team (missing two front court starters ) and still outrebounded us. Any win is good but we have a long way to go.

Well said. Continuing to be outrebounded against smaller teams is not good.

Posters,

OSD just sent me a text ordering me to go to NY to scout LeMoyne. Please don't blow up my Inbox. My postgame take will be coming soon. Just one parting take to ponder:

$6.2 Million Dollars.

The disgusting thing tonight was the empty seats in Cintas for our new coach. Too many fans were disguised as grey seats. Hey, Halloween was days ago. Will the corporate seats be filled with Bearcats this shootout?

So Roddie Anderson redshirt last year, so he could work on his game particularly his shot? He makes McKnight look like Steph Curry and Sherwin Anderson look like Jamaal Walker. Too bad Richard didn't pick up the PG from Marist. Anderson's shooting and decision making at the scrimmage and against Marist is really concerning not too mention his size. Hopefully Panoam can play some point along with Wright, and Moore.

hard to really analyze much as I watched this game because I literally didn't know any players' names yet. might be good if I keep a roster with me as I watch from now on.

my only analysis was this game was just so choppy/disjointed/hard to watch because of all the fouls. and luckily, Marist fouled more than us. I don't have enough info/knowledge/game experience to make judgments on individual players just yet. need to see how they perform over a span of 4-5 games before I can honestly evaluate. one game, finally in front of a "crowd", doesn't give enough information.
