so, i'm guessing we've all turned a little bit of a corner on this team since the first two weeks. believe me, I was not optimistic after watching the first 3 games, but it seems that ever since Georgia we've really started to kind of figure out who we are, roles are being better established, dudes are figuring out what they do well/don't do well and are starting to play to their strengths. this gives me great confidence that Pitino knows what he's doing, is getting guys to "buy in", and is finding out the best way to get this team to be successful.
not saying that I think we are top 3 in the Big East kind of team, but I think i've gone to "we are gonna finish in the bottom 2 of the league" to "I think we can compete to finish 4 or 5 in the league and have an outside shot at the tourney if we can pull an upset or 2 against the top 3 in the league.
talk me off of this opinion, if you want.
I realize that our inability to really have any legit post presence is going to hurt us against a few teams, but we are making it work with who we have.
I can tell you that there are times where I simply didn't enjoy watching this team at all. even the first half of last game made me nauseous as I saw signs of things we did the first few weeks. they turned it around at halftime, though.
Creighton ain't rolling out anymore Kalkbrenners and I don't see one name on their roster that has really hurt us in the past.
let's start the Big East season 1-0, boys.

I take back what I said above.
most likely bottom 3 finish in the Big East is where we are headed.

Moderate to severely poor. I think a below 5 hundred Big East record.
