The bench was awful. The bench played 58 minutes and had 6 points and 5 rebounds. Moore had a good offensive game but should have gone to the rim on the last play and drawn a foul .Neither team is very good and both will have long seasons. The 16 turnovers and giving up 19 offensive rebounds did us in. You have to wonder if Pitino actually thought a team like this could compete?

Pape, Robinson, and Jovan combined for 7 rebounds? They are all 6'10 and taller. Pitino picked the softest players in X history. Carroll, Moore, Flip, and Anderson are all veterans. Pathetic.

I listened to the Richard Pitino show and he stated that Xavier is at the bottom in the nation in getting to the foul line? Basically, Roddie and Trey are the only players that take the ball to the basket, which is not a recipe for success. Filip, All, and Moore rarely take the ball to the basket and Jovan is typically in foul trouble which isn't a recipe for success. Depaul, Marquette, and Xaiver are the worst rebounding teams in BE and also the worst. Pitino said the offense and spacing was good against DePaul, however giving up 46 points to them in the second half is awful. Sounds like we have nice "kids", but the effort and intensity is just not there. The optimism is fading.

Moore actually does take it to the hole, but he is a high-IQ player, and usually passes it out after collapsing the D. In fact, in the Crosstown Shootout, he had 3-4 assists doing just this, which was the key to the win. I wish he would challenge more at the rim, but he is the team's best facilitator, with an elite A/TO ratio.

You mean Borovicanin, but Moore is almost right there with him. The M brothers and Borovicanin when on are tough to beat with Carroll. We will definitely need all four of them to be on their games in the coming stretch. The BE outside of UConn has been crazy: Creighton stomping X, getting beat by Providence, and X beating Providence.
