Tre Carroll

Lost in this tough season was the year Tre Carroll put together. He averaged 18 points, 5.7 rebounds and 2.6 assists. He brought energy and confidence to a very mediocre roster. He was by far the best scorer in the Big East. Half way thru the season opposing teams were sending two and three guys at him . He played very hard all season long. To me the Big East Player of the year comes down to two players. Carroll and Ejiofar. They had similar stats except Ejiofar had a good team around him. I doubt Ejiofar if he was on Xavier would have had the season Carroll had. I think he was the Best Player in the Big East . Because of our record he probably won't get Player Of The Year but I believe he deserves it

Missed being the leading scorer in BE by .1 point/game.Getting hurt early against SH killed his average.That stinks.He was fun to watch although a little out of control at times.Once he decided he was shooting there was no getting him to pass
