I'm hoping Roddie stays and liked Wright. All just doesn't measure up to what a Big East needs to be able to do. I love Roddie's speed. He just needs a great coach to teach him.
It will be interesting to see how RP responds to this roster. I'd like Filip to stay, Pape (with lots of coaching! I guess!
What's the feelings about OUR freshmen? Are we to assume that RP Ias already made contact with new people?
I believe the portal doesn't open until April 7th . I have no idea about early recruiting.

Well, we know what two will give X, and one we think is good but never seen, and one who has been called a project at best.

Now hw will circle back on another guy named Filip, as in Filip Malesevic, a 20-year-old 7’4 center who averaged 7.4 points and 7.0 rebounds for FMP Beograd (ABA), the same pro league as Euroleague clubs.

OR

College of Charleston center Chol Machot 7-0 sophomore, earned CAA Defensive Player of the Year after averaging 8.9 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 2.5 blocks this season
I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.

Nothing unexpected
Anthony Robinson (Xavier) plans to enter the transfer portal, his agent @Ryanmurphhoop

Xavier forward Jovan Milicevic will return next season, he told @On3
.
The 6-10 sophomore plans to sign a new deal with the Musketeers in the coming days. Averaged 12.4 points and 3.9 rebounds per game this season

That is good news. He will need to step up his rebounding and play better defense but having a real big hopefully coming in with help. Having ARob leave frees up money and allow him to go to a Meac or lesser league

Finally some good news. I am happy Jovan is returning just hope he is not the focal point of the offense. I have my doubts that just getting a big defensive minded center will change Jovan's defensive results. I am still a little surprised about Anderson leaving but there had to be a disconnect with either the coaches faith in him or the N.I.L. money. Hope Pop's stays.

Let's remember he was a 2nd-year player, and with another year of lifting and maybe getting to play in his actual position, he should show signs of improvement. He was our second-leading scorer, so let's not knock him too much.

Muskieman you are right. I am too critical of Jovan .He played very well on offense in most of the games. Like a lot of young players he needs to get stronger and better on defense. Perhaps with new front court players he will find a way to defend better without fouling. With that being said what is the word on Pozzato? I am getting worried he is looking around. We seem to have trouble holding on to our own players. We really could have used Skyhops buddy DJokovic and Nyk Lewis this year. They both would have started and played well for us. I have to give credit to all the board members for the patience they have shown Pitino this year. Maryland for instance with the disaster of Buzz Williams (12-21 ) is on very thin ice. Pitino to his credit doesn't seem very surprised, worried or stressed. I am a lot more worried about the direction of the program than almost all the board members. I think with 10 million to spend we should field a very competitive team next year.

It is okay to be critical at times, after all, Jovvan did have some flaws. I just look at the fact that he wasn't playing his position and, at times, was inundated by driving players because the guards didn't stay in front of them. I hope, as a face-up forward with a big man rim protector, above the rim, that those driving players are intimidated, and Jovan scores at will.

I hear Pozzato had received an offer, and his agent looks like he is waiting before anything is announced. I am 75-80% positive that he will be back and believe he owes X at least one year.

Still have not heard anything on Pape, and guess he might stay, but might go into the portal first to see his worth.

I hope next year we see the Anti-Home and Skyhop patches on the player's uniform. My guess is X could get 5-10 million for one or both
