Boston college just hired Luke Murray. Good for him but I was hoping Xavier would hire him.

Good luck to Luke with a 3 million NiL budget. Maybe the old man will kick in some big time cash otherwise that is a dead end job for basketball.

I don't follow BC Basketball but they must give most of the N.I.L. money to the football budget. Luke is only 40 and I think he will do OK. Luke was making 865,000 at U Conn. His Dad Bill is worth 180 million. I know the Dad went to a lot of Luke's games at different schools. We met Bill Murray at the West regional in San Jose years ago when Xavier beat Arizona. We were having a beer in the Xavier section and Bill walked by talked for around five minutes with us. He was friendly and knew a lot about basketball and Xavier . I read were the new coach at Providence is working with a 10 million dollar N.I.L.. budget and I have heard Xavier has a 10 million N.I.L. fund. I'm guessing Luke will have more than is reported.
