I believe we have three freshmen incoming. I haven't seen much about them. Can someone post a rundown on all three and a speculation on whether any one of them could be a breakout like the kid from Illinois was this year?

Olsingledigit The best incoming freshman is probably Kalek House who is a 6-3 guard from Arizona who's dad Eddie House played in the NBA for over 10 years. He has a twin brother Kaden who is going to Maryland. Kalek is rated about the 99 best recruit in this class. He is supposed to be a good two way player. Asher Eison is a 6-10 power forward from Georgia who is rated a three star prospect. Gedeon Basson is a 6-1 guard from Florida who is not rated as this time. You probably can throw ratings out the window but on paper House looks to be the one most ready to play as a freshman

Composite: 0.9713 (Top‑80 range)
PrepRanks: #120 nationally, 3‑star composite
Scoring Versatility
Averaged 22 PPG as a sophomore at Desert Mountain HS.
Proven three‑level scorer:
35% from three
~90% FT
Strong mid‑range pull‑up game
Defensive Impact
Named to the EYBL Scholastic All‑Defensive Team.
Active hands, anticipatory instincts, and lateral quickness.
Averaged 2.6 steals per game in high school.
Areas for Development
1. True Point Guard Skills
PrepRanks notes limited positional versatility (PG score bottom 39%).
Needs to tighten decision‑making in half‑court sets.
2. Strength & Physicality
Solid frame but still developing strength to finish through contact consistently at the college level.
3. Consistency as a Primary Scorer
EYBL scoring dipped (8 PPG) in a more structured system.
Indicates he’s still adjusting to high‑level defensive pressure.
Kalek House is a high‑motor, two‑way guard with proven scoring ability, elite defensive instincts, and strong basketball lineage. His shooting efficiency and defensive upside make him a high‑value addition for Xavier, with the potential to develop into an All‑Conference‑level guard if his playmaking and physicality continue to grow
