possible transfers
it's probaly way too early to think about this but with our over abundance of PG's is it possible that a few will leave. Next year we will have lyons, redford, holloway, and crawford assuming that Dante moves to the 2 next year with the departure of raymond. I find it hard to believe that 4 guards with that much talent will stay here just to ride the pine.

Re: possible transfers
I think you are going to see Crawford play alot of small forward/PG. Minutes shouldn't be an issue but it's a great problem to have. Players know they have to earn their minutes and if they don't they are free to look elsewhere.

Re: possible transfers
While it is too early to think about, Holloway is the only true point guard of the bunch. Xavier is graduating BJ and CJ, which will leave the 2 and 3 open. Parrom is a 3, but he will not come in and start. Holloway can play point. Redford and Lyons can play the 1 and 2. Crawford and Jackson can play the 1, 2, & 3, and Walsh can play the 2 & 3. So that is basically 6 guards to rotate around 3 positions with Parrom playing some 3. it will be intersting and someone will inevitably transfer at some point.

Re: possible transfers
At this time most likely is Walsh. And what's the deal with Taylor? It looks as if we gave him a $140,000 for sitting with the walk-ons.
This is a great 2 days. What will be the line against Memphis? I'll guess Memphis by 8-9. (I guess it will be Memphis)

Re: possible transfers
Brown, I dunno. 200 minutes among 10 players is 20mpg, while a 9 man rotation is 22mpg. Today X didn't go that deep, so I would hope all the kids stay. B Walsh could also play some small forward, so depending on the opponent's man or zone, he and B Redford might play more than say Lyons/Jackson. Like someone else said, it's a nice problem to have, a far cry from Mark Smydra guarding Allen Iverson.

Re: possible transfers
I hope they redshirt some guys and they all stay!!! or.....the players realize that people get injured and they will be needed and must be ready to play or start. Xavier has had many key players/starters that were injured for part or all of the year and there is a need for a reserve or bench player to start etc. Just a few injury examples: Lavender,Duncan, Cage, Doellman, etc etc all the way back to ...Chris Mack.....Gary Massa .....the point is it is difficult to go a whole season without sprained ankles, injured hands and fingers, broken noses, etc....Xavier needs great players off the bench ready for it to be their turn in the limelight!!! How Xavier could have used Wolf ,if he had stayed, when Lavender was injured.

This is supporting a team? Talking about events that may or may not happen; about breaking up existing chemistry.

Re: possible transfers
Shadow I'm surprised it is only speculation on transfers and not "will Sean leave" thread. I guess if they can put Christmas stuff up on Halloween and people start running for president 3+ years before an election some will speculate on things that will possibly never come true. Let me take this opportunity to say there could be a person that transfers in the 2018 class! her I'm first!
I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.

Re: possible transfers
Just like a said earlier on here....we do not need transfers ...we need all of them on the team to make up for injuries...which will occur. or redshirt someone, but we do not need transfers.....everyone's time comes with work , results, and injuries.
