Just thinking about Xavier's best defenders in the last 20 years. Not in any particular order. And I'm sure I'm missing some.
David West
Stanley Burrell
Justin Cage
Brian Grant
Aaron Williams
Michael Hawkins
James Posey

In spite of Kyle Korver lighting him up for 30-something. But it is tough to guard a guy who pulls up after crossing the time line.

I'm not sure they played defense in the 60s or 70s. Recall, we ordered one of the first 100-point scoreboard to keep up with those runandgun teams.
JD Barnett was the first guy I recall being labeled as a "stopper." Torraye Braggs was a man in the post defense when we didn't have a second choice.

Stan Kimbrough was premier on ball defender; for all his later issues, Lloyd Price could pick anyone's pocket especially in the open floor (ask Steve Logan)
