DL's ankle

Nice win over UD today. How bad is DL's ankle? Seems to me that he is missing that extra step. Before the injury, he was able to storm in off the point and dish it off - or hit the signature high-arcing jumper....
What's with that huge ring that P. Gillen is wearing? Did he go to the Superbowl?
